Dear Prospective Noble Forward students,
In an effort to better serve students today and in the future, Noble Forward is transitioning to new management, and will merge with an organization called Rivet School. We are SO excited to partner with Rivet School! They are a proven organization that has been doing similar work for the past 6 years. Rivet has an ambitious goal for changing the landscape of higher education and continuing to create pathways that are accessible to ALL people interested in pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
Noble Forward’s team is working closely with Rivet School to ensure this transition is streamlined and provides high-quality, uninterrupted service and support to new and current students. You can read more about this change, and learn more about Rivet School, below.
What will change?
Since both Noble Forward and Rivet School provide very similar programming, not much will change for students.
In fact, both organizations:
Offer supportive pathways to earn a college degree and secure a great job after graduation.
Partner exclusively with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) — a nonprofit, accredited institution of higher education providing competency-based online degree programs.
Provide virtual personalized coaching and career support with opportunities for in-person support when needed.
We are also excited to share that some Noble Forward coaches will transition to Rivet as well, which means you will get the same care and attention our current students receive now and into the future.
The main difference between programs is the annual tuition amount. Rivet School’s partnership with SNHU charges $7,000 in tuition per year, or ~$2,333 per 4-month term. This tuition amount is aligned with the maximum federal Pell Grant amount ($7,395 in 2023-24). For context, Noble Forward charges $6,000 in tuition per year, or ~$2,000 per 4-month term. Rivet School and SNHU will support all applicants to access Pell Grant and other financial aid, and will also provide needs-based scholarships specifically to support the Noble Forward community.
What to expect next
Amber Johnson will continue to support you throughout the admissions process and will be reaching out via email or text to schedule time for a check-in call to explain the change. When you start your term, you will technically be enrolled with Rivet School, but January is when you would fully transition to Rivet School’s program experience.
